Q. What are the Check-in and Check-out times?
 
A. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and the Check-out time is 10:00 am.
 
Q. Which Credit Cards will Destin Comforts of NW Florida, Inc. accept?
 
A. Destin Comforts of NW Florida, Inc. accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards; please note that we do not accept American Express.

Q. What is the Schedule and Mailing Address for Payments?

A. First payment is due at the time of your reservation, this payment is for the amount of $250 and can be paid by Credit Card or Debit Card.
Final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival and can be paid by either Cashier's Check or Debit Card.

Q. Do you allow Student Groups?

A. Some of our homes allow student groups and others do not; make sure to confirm with us if you are a student group in order to make sure that you have chosen a compatible home.  There is a required/refundable "Performance Deposit" that accompanies student group reservations (ranging from $750-$3,500 based on the house requested).  Here are the additional Rules/Requirements for Student Groups:


STUDENT GROUP RULES
1. All students must be 21 years or age or older.
2. We will require a list of all occupants and a copy of everyone's driver's license.  NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS WILL BE ALLOWED OTHER THAN THOSE ON THE LIST AND APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT- AT ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT. THIS IS SUBJECT TO EVICTION AND LOSS OF RENT AND DEPOSIT.  ANY VIOLATION OF THIS PROVISION SUBJECTS LESSEE TO SIGNIFICANT PENALTIES WHICH ARE NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE LESSOR DUE TO THIS BEING A SHORT TERM, VACATION RENTAL.  VIOLATION OF THE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY PROVISION CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS DIRECTLY RELATED TO OVERUSE OF THE SEWER AND MAY CAUSE EVICTION.

Q. What is your Parking Policy?


A.  Rules for the Villages of Crystal Beach: Trailers, RV’s, golf carts, motorcycles, jets skis, scooters (RENTAL or owned) and other recreational vehicles are not permitted to ride or park anywhere inside the property. No parking on the street or your vehicle will be towed in order to make sure that emergency vehicles have proper access to the homes within the community.  There is a 3 car maximum for each home within the community; there are additional parking spaces located at the back gate, next to the mailbox area.

Parking Rules for Destiny East:  
A. Parking Permits must be displayed when parked inside Destiny East.
B. No parking on the street or in the clubhouse parking lot from 12 midnight to 5 AM.
C. No parking is permitted on the grass at any time of day (this includes golf carts).  
D. Parking over the sidewalk in driveways is only allowed from dark to 10 am the next morning.  During all other hours please leave please leave the sidewalk area of the driveway unobstructed.
E. No vehicle shall park across, or be allowed to remain upon the 4-foot wide sidewalk that crosses the driveway.
F. No jet skis, boats, trailers, motor homes or commercial vehicles are to be kept on the property unless parked in a closed garage. 
G. Only vehicles with proper registration and license are permitted on driveways or street.
H. Any vehicle that is trespassing and/or violates the parking regulations established by the Destiny East Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Easements and the Destiny East Rules and Regulations are subject to being towed without notice at the owners expense. This includes overnight parking in the clubhouse parking lot.
I. Motorcycles, to include mopeds, are permitted for ingress and egress only. They are not permitted for recreational use on the property.
J. Golf carts must be street legal and driven by a licensed driver to leave the gates of Destiny East.  All golf cart operators must be over the age of 16 and have a valid state's driver's license.  This is required if stopped by security.

L. No go-carts or motorized scooters are allowed in Destiny East.

Parking Policy for Additional Homes/Condos:
*Please check with property manager in reference to other homes/condos, some will have attached garages and others (condos) will have parking spaces available.

Q. Do you offer Travel Insurance?

A. Yes, we highly recommend getting Travel Insurance for your trip if you are concerned about your trip being affected by inclement weather during Hurricane Season. It is up to the guest to purchase this coverage for their trip. Should you so choose, you may purchase travel insurance at the time of your reservation for 6.95% of the total balance of your reservation.

**Please note that we do not refund rents/deposits lost due to canceled or shortened stays because of weather. Departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refund of rent or deposit. We do not offer any refunds for Hurricanes or Tropical Storms.

Q. Do you offer Damage Protection?
 
A. Yes, the following are the TERMS as defined by Destin Comforts of NW Florida, Inc. for Accidental Damage Protection : ($49 fee)
This Security Protection plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occurs during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $1,500.00. Any damages that exceed $1,500.00 will be charged to the credit card on file. You may opt out of this Protection Plan if you choose to pay a refundable Damage Deposit, this deposit amount will depend on the size of the property...please check with Cheryl St. Pe' to confirm the amount for your Damage Deposit.

Q. Do your Homes Allow Pets?

A. Some of our vacation homes allow pets (with an additional $100 Pet Deposit); some of our homes do not allow pets (due to owner's allergies, etc.). Please confirm, at the time of your reservation, whether or not your desired home allows pets and that your pet(s) meet the requirements set by the individual home owners.  If you have more than one pet (and they are 20 lbs or more, then there will be a Pet Fee of $100 per pet).
 
Q. Do you have an additional website address where we can view more photos of the individual homes that you currently rent?

Q. Are your Homes Wheelchair Accessible?

A. Yes, all of our individual homes have at least one bedroom and bathroom that are located on the first floor.  In regards to our condos, all of the buildings will have elevators in order to accommodate wheelchair access.

Q. At what times during the year does the Seasonal Trolley make trips to the beach?

A. The seasonal trolley runs from March to Easter, then from May through Labor Day.  The trolley runs from 10am-5pm with a break during mid-day for lunch.
